Northern Thai food is a must for you to try in Chiang Mai, But but there are many more Chiang Mai restaurants that will give you a taste of food from all over the world. Its your opportunity to give them a try too. Northern Thai food, American food, Vietnamese cuisine, Burmese dishes, Italian pastas, and Indian cuisine too. There were many we could not try because there far too many restaurants and not enough time. Chiang Mai restaurants have some of the best food in the world, and Chiang Mai food can be great for the budget too compared to many other cities.

Duke’s Grill & Bar – American Food – Chiang Mai at The Night Bazaar
These ribs are to die for!! Tangy sauce, not sweet, not hot, but very tasty. The meat didn’t just fall off the bone, but when you bit into it, it melts in your mouth. Asia does pork right, and I don’t think you could find any better pork ribs any where, and no antibiotics here in Thailand. Onion rings were good too, not heavy but more of a light taste to go with the ribs. Again, these ribs were something else. Tawa Bistro – Desserts, Thai, Pizza & Hamburgers
This was an afterthought one night after having dinner at Tawa Bistro. It ended up being one of those desserts to die for!!! Great cool refreshing ice-cream on a sultry night in Chiang Mai together with raspberries, peanuts, all imbedded in pastry with a cookie in the back. This was perfect because it hit the spot and the cookie offset the soft textures with a crunch! Read about their Hamburger here

Good food, spicy and more of a restaurant then a Coffee house. We had the Tom Yum Soup which was full of herbs, shrimp, peppers, lemongrass, tomatoes and galangal (a stronger type of ginger)

Deli Garden – Sandwiches Chaing Mai –
Fresh bread and very good sandwich meat along with a shake can make a great lunch when you want something other than Asian food in Chiang Mai. They also serve shakes, enjoy their themed restaurant.

This place is a little hard to find, but we found that this was the best Papaya Salad in Chiang Mai. Go to check out how to find this little stand and enjoy the Warorot Market where you find all kinds of goods and foods, its an experience. Too bad the Food was so good because we were disappointed with the cooperation from the management. We were over charged for the food that was ordered… Management could have been much nicer considering…Won’t go back there!
