Flight of the Gibbon Food Review
The main features on this mountain retreat outside of Chiang Mai are the Zip Lines. When you fly through the air with Flight of the Gibbon there are plenty Zip lines. When you’re finished playing Tarzan and Jane, your extremely hungry.
This is not my normal review because I arrived late and we were the last to sit at the table. Everyone was as hungry as I was and while the food had been distributed around the table, there was still plenty to eat, but not enough for great photographs. We were late enough that no one explained what the dishes were being served, but I can tell you it was all fresh and the taste very good on the palette.
After a fun morning, we were all happy, but ready for a good lunch. With healthy food served under a canopy next to a running stream and live music with your new Zip Line friends; we were all very happy during our meal. Early on you bond with your group and after you go through the course its fun to sit down and talk about the experiences you had while having lunch. They serve everything family style (serve yourself) which is the way most Asian’s dine. There was plenty to eat and it was delicious and healthy, with vegetables such as greens, soup and lots of mushrooms. (This is a Flight of the Gibbon Food Review.)
Sitting next to a mountain stream we dined on a variety of foods, rice was one of them. This rice was very good, and different from the regular rice you find everywhere.
Fresh Local Food is Served for Lunch
Healthy food such as mushroom soup, marinated mushrooms and some healthy greens, all for lunch after flying through the trees.
Wonderful Experience Dining next to a Mountain Stream
More healthy food, I think this was a Papaya salad, no one could tell us exactly because I was late to lunch. Everything was fresh!!
