No where is safe in the world anymore including where you live.  Europe has a US State Department travel advisory, South America has its kidnappings and muggings, and even SE Asia has a few problems too, but over all SE Asia is safe and a fun spot to take a vacation holiday. This area is extremely scenic and its fun to experience a different culture. Come here for the food, scenics, experience a different culture, yoga, meditation, ancient ruins, water falls, hiking, sight seeing, photography, scuba diving and boating in the South Thailand Islands. SE Asia is great for the younger generations or baby boomers on holiday, there is something here for everyone.

Now is the best time to Travel SE Asia. The strong dollar is one of many reasons because SE Asia is a great value even without a strong dollar. 

SE Asia is a bargain right now because of what you get for your money. Stay in a budget hotel, hostel or guest house, or a 5 star hotel, the choice is yours. Whatever you choose, you will find its a lot cheaper to take a holiday here compared to the prices in Europe, America, Japan or Australia.  Safety is always a concern and right now this area is a good place to be. Always be careful no matter where you travel.
